Triumph T140V Motorcycle

A straight forward job where our customer needed some pistons for a Triumph T140V engine at 0.040” oversize, but was unable to obtain any. 

He supplied a sample piston so we could reference the compression height, pin diameter, valve relief size and angle and the profile of the dome / intruder of the piston. These were then made at the bore size he required.

As this job only required 2 pistons there is an extra cost applied to the pistons to compensate for the design and machining set up time.

BMW M42 Stroker

Our Customer wanted to change the stroke on his BMW M42 engine by fitting a longer stroke crankshaft from a later BMW engine. The finished pistons needed to suit a bore size of 86.50mm and give a compression ratio of 10.5:1. The stroke of the engine was changing from 81mm to 88mm.
