VW Golf R MK7
This customer had a pretty serious blow-up on his 2014 Golf R (similar to the blue car pictured above ©VW) as you can see from the image below, and was unable to find any replacement pistons. The car was driven hard so a set of forged pistons was going to be the best option for him.
The finished piston has all the same basic dimensions of the VW part, but with the benefit of being made from a high quality forging with all the design features of a purpose made JE piston.
