Manufactured incorporating the latest technology the co-axial clutch release mechanism offers greater clutch control and significantly lighter pedal effort, even with competition clutches. Originally designed for race use, many owners are choosing to fit the system to their road cars because of the benefits it offers.
The direct hydraulic action dispenses with the need for any mechanical parts like cross shafts and release arms. The clutch slave cylinder is moved from its traditional place on the outside of the gearbox bell housing and is replaced by the co-axial cylinder which is mounted on a purpose designed gearbox front cover. For convenience the cylinder is bled from outside the bell housing.
Kits are supplied complete with fitting instructions and all parts including the cylinder, gearbox front cover, bearing, braided flexible hose, gaskets and seals.
Please note: The co-axial cylinder has less fluid than original slave cylinders. To avoid over pressuring the cylinder it is neccessary to either change the clutch master cylinder with a smaller capacity (listed separately) or fit a simple pedal stop beneath the clutch pedal.
