MGB 4 Synchro co-axial clutch release kit. This kit converts your MGB to a fully hydraulic clutch release system, offering lighter and smoother control for competition clutches. A special CNC machined adapter replaces the standard gearbox front cover, allowing a co-axial hydraulic clutch cylinder to be mounted. The kit includes all parts required to mount the cylinder including hydraulic hoses. The system can be bled externally once fitted. The clutch release bearing itself is a fully floating steel faced bearing, and requires a conventional clutch cover to be used without a thrust face. See our range of clutch covers in this section for details A pedal stop is required under the clutch pedal (not supplied) as the new clutch release cylinder has a smaller capacity than the original. This is designed as a competition item, and as such may require a simple machining operation to be performed when the kit is assembled. The system may require periodic maintenance once installed.
